The Bible uses the word "rejoice" (and all its variations) about 200 times. It is one of the most frequently repeated commands in Scripture, encouraging us to rejoice in our salvation, in our suffering, and in our daily life. But when times are hard, how can we actually rejoice? What motivations do we have to look past our struggles and be filled with joy?
