How Crucial is Faith in God in Bitter Times?

Ruth 1:1-5

Mothers are some of God's greatest blessings. In fact, none of us would be here if it were not for them, literally. We can never disregard the amount of sacrifices they are making just to make sure we are okay. From the moment of conception through our birth, our growing-up years, and even our present lives, they are a big part of why we're here. And if we are blessed with a God-fearing mother, we should praise God twice as much. Their example and influence play an important role in our training in righteousness. But even more praiseworthy are widows who continue to trust in God and point others to Him, even when life becomes bitter.
