God's Love, Truth, and Justice

1 John 4:7-11

One of the most popular expressions in Christianity is "God is love," which is indeed a biblical verse. But people interpret and apply this statement differently. Some say that since God is love, they no longer need to observe moral and religious laws and are therefore free to do whatever they want. Others believe that since God is love, everyone will ultimately be saved. So, it doesn't matter whether people trust in Jesus or not; no one will go to hell anyway. Still, others are convinced that all religions are essentially the same; they lead to the same God.

Is there any truth to these beliefs? What does the Bible mean when it says, "God is love"?
