Breaking Barriers for the Gospel
Acts 10:9-16
The Great Commission is a divine mandate given to all Christians of all generations. Just before ascending back into heaven, Jesus commanded that Christians go and make disciples of all men. He gave this directive nearly 2,000 years ago, and yet, almost half of the world, at least in our time, has not yet heard the Gospel. Why? There are various obstacles that keep us from freely sharing the Gospel with different people groups. Despite the number of missionaries we send out, billions of people still have no access to the Bible.
But I'd like to make a case that you and I do not need to go overseas to proclaim the Good News. We can do our part in the Great Commission right here in our community. To do that, we need to break the barriers that society and culture have put up.
